How is everyone? Thanks for checking in. Should be another 6 day week this week with a few hours on Sunday aswel! Looking forward to the end of next week- onto a good job with a decent hourly rate so could be taking home £200+ a day net wages! Exactly what I need so I can smash this debt!! A good week of football ahead, looking forwRd to it!:eek:Living frugally at 24

Hello all, thanks for popping in, how are we this very miserable day(no work done
) Although just home i am knackered, away for a quick nap followed by 3 mile run before tea. Getting stuck right into exercising not just for the pump/gains but also for the destressing side of it!! Keeps me fit, destressing and helps me sleep at night!! Also if im out running, its not really costing me anything(bar the inital outlay of trainers, shorts etc!!) Although saying that i am cutting my going out budget to get extra into food budget so i can up my protein intake. Not only do i need to sort out packed lunches everyday, they need to be packed with protein! Any tips on that?
On the money front, emergency fund is now just over £1,000!!! Its also payday tomorrow! We have booked a holiday for a week in the summer, needed something to look forward to and even in the month we go off on holiday just the minimum payments that month will bring debt down over £1,000 so i feel its justified! Right, struggling now, need a nap then hammer into some exercise!! Thanks for popping by, will be back on later!!!:eek:Living frugally at 24

M&s have their two dine in offer on. The selection includes ready to roast chickens. We buy those as they comfortably cover four portions. You just need to rummage to get large ones. You can also opt for cheese instead of a dessert. Given you also get your wine/ fruit juice and side, we normally buy two at a time and bung one in the freezer. OH is on Atkins plan so offer is perfect for usMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I absolute love M&S the chicken is amazing, just like you say though, got to rummage to find the biggest ones as can be small on the portion side!! Just need to up my protein intake while also making sure diet is a little healthier, not that big on fruit and veg!!:eek:Living frugally at 24

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Came on here to see how you're doing and now I'm starving!!! All this talk about roast chickens and cheese is making me want my dinner lol :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Ive just read through everything and your doing fantastic.
The attitude you have is great. Believe it or not we're in a similar position. Not the court or total part but the period which were both under. I have 3 loans, the biggest having about 3 years to pay off and the smaller about 2 years. The middle loan, believe it or not has about 2 and a half years to go :rotfl:
My net debt is about £15,000 -£20,000 (including interest) but I'm only paying just under £600 a month to these debts. Just like you I live with OH who has no debts and we contribute the same each month to the joint account.
Scary lol.
Subscribed and will follow with interest.

Thanks for popping in by. Spent last few nights away getting a break, much needed, all in about 350 down with some work related expenses coming today. Payday Friday should bring £1,400ish net for the fortnight, the pay after will take April earnings over £3k net which is very much needed as credit card that gets cleared every month seems to be creeping up! Over £1k will be wiped off the overall debt pcm so still feel motivated even with odd expense here and there.
Good news came my way on Thursday, after 65 minutes on hold finally got though to someone at hmrc and the fines imposed on me have been cleared so I don't owe a penny, in fact I may actually be due a £123 tax rebate!!! Brilliant as the fines were £1800 and going to be automatically taken off me via tax code for next financial year so got it sorted just in time!!
Last payslip shows income gross of £53k, with all this debt to shift and trying to save up a half decent emergency fund I'm going to try and hit £60k for the next financial year, an extra £3,500 in my pocket could go along way!
The diet/weight training has been put on hold for the weekend as I was away, back on it today though looks like will get some fine chicken for my tea tonight. Lovely day and I'm stuck travelling home, the joys!!
Hope everyone is well, thanks for checking in. Another post closer to being debt free!!:eek:Living frugally at 24
