Since when has it been common practice to preface every statement with 'Hey'?

When you are a well known troll known as Andy and you are trying, unsuccessfully, to disguise this fact.
I was not amused by the remark on benefit culture, I am 62 years old work full time, I have never had any benefits as I have worked from being 15 and glad I am able to, my salary is a little more than minimum wage and as I live alone the bills are all mine, I am proud to say I manage my finances well.
My £200 is a great help to me......as I put on the opening post, it will take away the worry of increased fuel.

Please ignore racon, as above a well known troll who has had more user names than I've had hot dinners and despite the above drivel about sending back WFA will claim anything and everything he can.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Shame on you 7, moneysaving is not necessarily saving your own money.:rotfl:

I'm not really that bad :) Their heating came on at 6.30 without me doing anything.:rotfl::rotfl:

However, one of the plus's of pet/house sitting is that you live in the person's house while they are away which of course means that while you are there, you are using their gas, electricity and laundry facilities instead of your own :)

But 7 I was merely suggesting ways of keeping warm :kisses3:and moneysaving at 5:26am when you posted. After all the central heating didn't come on til 6:30am. that's a whole hour.:rotfl:
The only thing that is constant is change.

. :) We also have a woodburner and use the £200 for logs for that. Warm and Toasty. Job done :)
Hey, that I can understand - extra fuel for the winter - the reason for the WFA payment.

Just wondering, Mum died in October and I have access to some of her bank statements, including for the account into which her state pension was paid.

    I can't see her WFP.

If it's possible that it could have gone into another account I'll check that before I write to DWP, but if you, dear readers, think it always goes into the same account as the pension I can skip that step!

The payment due to death tend to stop being issued at the end of October as the normal payments go out and they concentrate on them up to Christmas, once Christmas is over they go back to those payment, it maybe that they have not got to it in time before the issue of the normal payments.

    Hi everyone,

I believe my husband qualifies for the fuel allowance this coming winter.

He was born on 30/09/52, and will be 63 when he qualifies. Because he won't be retired yet, will he have to put a claim in, and if so when should he do it? I am not retired yet, so how much will he get?

    Thanks,
    Candy.

  • If he is not on State Pension he will have to claim and if he is eligible he should get £200. When you qualify, you will each get £100.
