I reckon I must have set up the second switch, to the Current A/c Plus, under the old scheme - the accounts 'switched' on 3 March - and it's hard to tell now what the old requirements were. I thought it was unusual for me not to have made a note if DDs were required. I'll sit back and see what happens, thanks for the info.
Oh, me of little faith! My second £150 arrived this afternoon.

Just reporting that another £150 switch incentive was credited yesterday
    Switch date: 03/03/15
    £1000 credit: 05/03/15
    £150 payout: 08/04/15

Looks like 33 days from £1000 credit and 35 days from switch date.
£47605.33 outstanding in C.C (£8000 Interest free till January 2025)

    Hi All,

I recently took up this offer (a couple of months ago roughly)
I remember seeing it on MSE for Clydesdale saying the offer was ending and I'm sure it said no DD necessary. I paid in £1000 around a month ago and have not received the incentive yet. They have given me a YB account - I am not sure if this makes any difference??

Anyway, before I contact them I just wanted to get some advice from here to see whether I wait longer or go through the hassle of switching two dd!

    Thanks!

I've just checked. I didn't pay the grand in until 20th March.

Also, with my account, I remember I applied right at the end of Feb. I got a call the next day from some guy at YB telling me the offer would be honoured even though the process wouldn't be completed until after the offer period had expired. Will this help my cause as I didn't transfer 2 dd with the original switch?

    Thanks

If you switched/initiated the switch during the offer which ended in February then you should have no problems as DD were not required then.

So, have I got this right. The newest / latest offer requires £1000 to go through the account per month and two DD?

The DDs must be switched in.

The £1K per month can't really be enforced long term, as there's nothing in the T&Cs that allows clawback should you not meet that particular element. However, you'd be wise to comply until you got your £150, like you would with keeping the DDs active over the same period (note: they don't have to pay out each month, merely be set up).

You normally get the incentive exactly 35 days post switch/paying in the £1k. That is exactly how my payments - bar the first one - have worked.

But they do have up to 60 days to pay under the terms. But if you are past 35 days it might be worth checking with them all is ok.

May be a possible negative from applying for several current accounts recently, have just received an unsolicited offer from Vanquis Bank for a credit card that I have been 'pre-selected' for with an APR of 39.9%.

Obviously SOMEONE has sold on my details to SOMEONE, not saying its YB, could be other banks, credit reference agencies, TopCashback but as I APPEAR to need lots of overdraft facilities I have been picked up and my details SOLD on:mad:

Have had a couple of phone calls from INTERNATIONAL that went dead when I picked up.

I will return something in the reply paid envelope, just not sure what yet;)
