Be aware that once the AA have got your credit card details they automatically renew your policy the following year. It is up to you to tell them not to. Got stung for £112 a couple of years back and they wouldn't refund me :eek:. So if you want to take advantage of a special offer next year don't forget to inform them not to in the next 11 months.

I bought this last night via Quidco. This morning it is showing as tracked, although only for £24.04, not for £25 - odd?!

Anyone else in the same boat, or can ofer an explanation?
If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...

I'm in the same boat, and have no idea why. Just decided life's too short to worry about it!

  • Joined AA yesterday with the 100 plus option at a cost of £68.80 which is showing on Quidco but is only tracking at £24.04...

What do I need to do to make sure I get the full £25????

The nectar offer hasn't been pulled - it's always been there!!

If you go to the link below, you can enter your policy number if you have joined within the last 28 days, and have the points credited to your nectar account. Remember, you can only do this after you have purchased the cover and have a policy number.

I think the code was NB01 but Martin has taken it down now. So you can have both

Thanks for the link to the form, James, but I needed to use a different code: BA01, when I applied. It's allowed me to enter it, but of course who knows whether the points will arrive!

For info, this is where the code came from, in case it changes again

  • "I can’t take advantage of this offer as I took out life membership some 43 years ago for £52.50. Best investment I ever made & they have added Home Start & Relay with no extra charge. I can also have my wife & children (living at home) on it.

I don’t know how much life membership is now, but if you are young it may be worth looking into."

Does anyone know if AA still do a lifetime offer? ive had a look on their website but cant find anything?

And how do you quote someone in your reply? Im new at this and had to resort to copy and paste!

Signed up the other day... requires a card payment that they can do auto renewal... my card expires within a year and was therefore rejected.

Anyway i signed up on Switch and will wait for the payment to clear and then cancel the DD sign off.....

Got my £25 cashback as pending already...

Going to call them to get the Nectar points in a few days..

    Rob

    Thanks for the hot tip....
