I'm going to sound really duh here, but I've never 'taken part' in Black Friday so don't even know what it is! I suppose it's where retailers have a massive sale on for that day only? So how do you find Amazon's deals on Black Friday? I'm desperately trying to find toys for my grandchildren at the moment.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. :)

amazon black Friday is on all week from Monday next week you will see a link on their main page.

previous years their has been some toys included, each day you will be able to see what is coming up and at what time.

hopefully you will find something be careful though it can be addictive
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving

My son has a temporary xmas job for one of the Amazon distribution centres. Think his feet are gonna be on fire next week. Poor thing.

Eta: They start compulsory overtime next week. Upto an extra 20 hours a week.
    Illegitimi non carborundum.
  • Just wondering, do Amazon sometimes relist the same deals? I missed something and wondered if the deal will be back at some point? Thanks.

Yep, quite often you see things going around a few times.
But the "blockbuster deals" tend to be less frequent.
  • they never have any GREAT deals.

I think the Sony Blu ray player I got for £50 a couple of years ago is a great deal :)

I also think the xbox 360 and four games I got for £99 was pretty spot on too :)
  • I've just returned The Big Bang Theory Box Set that I purchased for £44.99 two weeks ago, as it came up last week on one of their Lightning Deals at £23.99. They should give me a full refund minus £1.49 for returning by CollectPlus, which I think is well worth it. In the reason for return it asked me which other retailer was selling the item at a lower price. It gave me great pleasure to type YOU! :D
2013 Wins: Tickets to Northern Ballet. Dvd. Having a bit of a dry spell comp-wise :wall: but will keep a troshin'!

Thank you so much to all who post! :T

Sometimes if you email them & explain nicely they refund the difference, saving you the effort & expense of returning the item ;)

:j cannot wait for this to start, always marks the beginning of my Christmas shopping and soooooo addictive.

When do they start showing what's up first for Monday?
  • Have no experience with a Black Friday thing but if I can find a good, fast, reliable and cheap PC desktop, I will start worshiping it too.
