hi all, so excited now its here, means no housework will be done now :rotfl:

regarding deliveries to uk i think i remember someone saying they don't but looking on site i do see it lists other European countries so i'm not 100% sure.
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving
  • Germany and the other amazon sites do post the UK, but not every item is allowed to be post.
I usually buy my lego sets from Germany or spain which is fine, but can't get video games, electronics delivered.

    Delivery is usually quick though
  • Well this is looking as rubbish as the last couple of years. I got the GHDs for £50 (£32 cheaper) in the first year, it's just gone down hill ever since
You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like her <3 Big Bang Theory :)

I have bought my first items, things I was looking at anyway, the X wing expansion stuff and the brain box board games So far better than last year for me, I think I bought 4 things total last year. Looking at a few other things.

Of course it's rubbish. Amazon (like all retailers) exist to make money for their shareholders. There will be a very, very small number of real bargains just to draw people in, but everything else will be stuff they can't get rid of, and stuff very fractionally reduced just to sell volume.

But it works - just like M&S and Debenhams ever-present 'up to 50% off' sales. People are gullible and they keep going back for more - even though in reality they're being conned.

They are only been conned if they are buying things that are cheaper elsewhere. Just because the reductions are not huge doesn't make it a con.
