stphnstevey wrote: »OK, so you are just dumb enough to agree for it to monitor your activities, thats so much better! - this is still what some Spyware does and apart from agreeing to have it on your computer, the basic program is identical!!!.
What about updates - will they tell you if they start taking more info than you have agreed? Do you even know exactly what info they are collecting on you? Will they tell you if it automatically updates and adds other programs to your computer? Will this bypass your current security? Will they access files on your computer without your say so?
Who is it selling your info to? It is likely you will be Spammed or sent junkmail in the post to high heaven - do you really think they are collecting this info not to make money from it?
Its just 'sprats for mackeral' - is it really worth £5 to give a relatively unknown company free reign on your computer!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe Martin can endorse this and it makes me ashamed to be a member of a a website that would actively promote this.....
When you get the fiver uninstall it - you can pause it too like when you're on sites that you don't want it to know about. Doesn't take long for fiver to come through - most of these sites are safe otherwise Martin wouldn't advocate them.Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -

So glad you figured out that if you install software on your machine and know it will monitor your surfing then its NOT spyware.
As for me being dumb enough to install it, If you had read the thread you would know how I use the software and you wouldn't have made such a dumb statement :rolleyes:0 -
I filled in the survey about 4 days ago and still havent got the email link.
Nor me!

I don't want to argue with you Alan, but whether you call it Spyware or Sweet Aunty Nelly it makes no difference, the program is still essentially doing the same as some Spyware.0 -
The initial email I had from them said:Once you have completed the survey you will receive an email within 24 hours with instructions about how to download the IMM toolbar and how to start the daily questionnaires.
I completed the survey and received a follow-up email a day or two later but it only gave me a link to take part in the daily questionnaires, with no mention of the toolbar. I followed the link to the daily questionnaire but couldn't find anything about the toolbar on that page, either.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does the email about the toolbar arrive separately?0 -
Your experience is identical to mine moontree! Still no reply to the 3 messages I've sent them about this.0

Same problem - signed up, got email, filled in a couple of surveys but no link to download bar and so no amazon voucher, not yet anyway, signed up four days ago...0

No toolbar for me either and I've filled out the surveys everyday so far.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

I don't think they'll invite everyone to do this then? I've been a member for ages-but still haven't been asked.
I've done several tv surveys for £5 vouchers recently though, so i can't complain.
