View is not on the page it is an Internet Explorer menu.
If you have Internet Explorer 7 (the one with the 'tabs') then you will need to press the 'ALT' key once to show the menu bar.
The view menu is then at the top of your screen. Note - in IE6 the view menu is already there without having to press 'ALT'.

Hi folks - I'm researching this for Martin's email and would love to get a link to the toolbar so I can have a go at downloading it.

Would anybody be able to foward the link/email they got? I have applied to join but the toolbar email won't come through on time (it's going in tip tonight - eek!)

Would be eternally grateful - thanks :)

Bother - think this is the link for the TV one - but once on the website you may be able to find the link for the toolbar - good luck
Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!
  • I've been doing GfK surveys for a couple of years and have accumulated about £30 in £5 Amazon vouchers in their regular loyalty prize draws - I'm still holding out for thr big prizes! :)

Occasionally they do extra surveys (like last week's Media Survey) and you get your £5 voucher for that after a small wait. Be patient - it will come.

I use Firefox to do the surveys with no trouble at all.

On the toolbar - I don't have any link to download the toolbar on the site. Is it removed for those already subscribed perhaps?
  • Presumably it would be possible to do this on a few different PCs and net a voucher for each one?

Or join, download the bar, recieve your voucher, remove the tool bar then join again with a diffrent email address then do it all over again

To get the voucher you have to install the tool bar but by doing the surveys you get entered into a draw for vouchers each month

If its open about tracking your internet usage how is it spying?

    Definition
Spyware is computer software that is installed surreptitiously on a personal computer to intercept or take partial control over the user's interaction with the computer, without the user's informed consent.

OK, so you are just dumb enough to agree for it to monitor your activities, thats so much better! - this is still what some Spyware does and apart from agreeing to have it on your computer, the basic program is identical!!!.

What about updates - will they tell you if they start taking more info than you have agreed? Do you even know exactly what info they are collecting on you? Will they tell you if it automatically updates and adds other programs to your computer? Will this bypass your current security? Will they access files on your computer without your say so?

Who is it selling your info to? It is likely you will be Spammed or sent junkmail in the post to high heaven - do you really think they are collecting this info not to make money from it?

Its just 'sprats for mackeral' - is it really worth £5 to give a relatively unknown company free reign on your computer!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe Martin can endorse this and it makes me ashamed to be a member of a a website that would actively promote this.....
