This offer states "Remember that you'll also be given a £5 Amazon voucher for successfully downloading and installing the IMM Toolbar - guaranteed!" I & many others have registered but haven't received the e-mail with the toolbar info, with the result that we don't get the £5 voucher. I've telephoned them, but they just say that they've got to wait for the info we supply to be sent to them by surveymedia.net (even though it's GfK's number supplied for assistance
), and they don't know how long that could take. I've also sent e-mails to the helpdesk, neither of which have had a reply. I'm not the only one in this position, & it seems very unfair that the company can get our information but not supply their part of the deal, resulting in us not qualifying for the £5 voucher.
If someone else can supply a working link from which to download the toolbar, then please post it here as many of us would appreciate it. Until then, I don't think it's wise for anyone else to register their details, as you don't know what's happening with them & you don't qualify for the voucher either. I know that some people have said they've received the toolbar (& I've no reason to doubt them), but far too many people haven't for me not to be suspicious.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."

That would be Microsoft - it's built into Windows. The idea is they improve their product as a result. Personallly I think they should be getting their software right before distributing it... so always decline their kind invitation
Me too - and Dell - they want info as well - nosy beggars! Doesn't help make the damn pc run any better! They never tell me why it crashed or what to do about it!!!Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -
Right! As I started this, it seems like it's about time MSE'ers started to kick butt with real people - not just that helpdesk email that no-one bothers replying from

hope those addresses will work - shall we see if that wakes this lot up a bit?0 -
Don't know if the following link is personal to me, but should take you to the GfK home page where you should be able to download the toolbar - possibly! I've never won anything, only got the fiver for the toolbar - keep forgetting to do the surveys tho - dammit!
https://panel.gfkmedia.co.uk/
When I clicked on the link for downloading the toolbar it said it could already detect it on my pc, which would seem to imply that you cannot use an alternate e mail address as it knows it's on your pc - not like registering for surveys or freebies with different e mail and snail mail addresses as some people seem to do!
When I click on the above link I get my own details! Please let me know if you do too!! Don't see how it can be personal to me as it is just their web address, there's no numbers or codes in it - be grateful if you honest lot out there would tell me if you can access all my personal details!!!! Luckily I trust you!Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -
for those that have downloaded the toolbar i would sugest that you run a full spyware and adaware/virus check after you unistall it as stuff licke this is embedded in the registry which even when you uninstall it from the control setting panel stuff still get left behind0

I think you have to be patient, a friend of mine got hers 4 weeks after adding the toolbar. I completed a special weeks survey to get a fiver voucher and am still waiting, finished it a week ago, and I will let you know if and when I get it.0

Bump - as thread went off track due to trolling (now deleted.) Good informative post from chloes - perhaps we should be patient, especially as GfK NOP will be busy due to MSE at present!0 -

Bump also - here are those "real" emails again, for those who don't want to be patient, but chase the company seriously.0
