Just to tie this thread up - if OP had tried to watch an iPlayer HD stream in his bedroom and it worked, that would have been a good indication that a WiFi TV would have good streaming quality too.
It depends on the speed of your broadband connection, and the speed of the WiFi at the specific location you're putting the TV.0
