Have you read the reviews for this model where, all year, people have been reporting problems with the lack of synchronisation between the video and audio? This problem seems to be an ongoing issue with this series of Samsung televisons.

"Wi-Fi aint great for streaming material like BBC iPlayer etc."
"Everyone's individual circumstance is different."
In other words wifi may well be good enough, as evidenced by some posts on here.
But then it may not be for the OP.......0 -
There is no contradiction."Wi-Fi aint great for streaming material like BBC iPlayer etc."

Regardless of how good the wi-fi reception is, streaming is always far better and reliable when delivered by a wired (ethernet) connection.
The OP may find wi-fi is acceptable in that bedroom, he may not.0 -
I never said there was but by giving my experience the OP can take it into consideration when seeing whether Wi-Fi would be suitable for his situation, after all that is the purpose of these forums.Moneyineptitude wrote: »No point relying on your experience0 -

Your exact post is here notice the word YOUR which you have conveniently left out in the above post and which I am referring to in my post.Moneyineptitude wrote: »Everyone's individual circumstance is different. No point relying on your experience (or someone with poor Wi-Fi), the OP needs to check the individual room he wants to install the Wi-Fi-enabled TV in.0 -
How do you do connect ethernet connection on TV:TMoneyineptitude wrote: »There is no contradiction.

Most smart TV's can be connected to the internet by either ethernet or Wi-Fi, ethernet is more reliable but can be inconvenient if the router is not within reasonable distance, Wi-Fi can be reliable depending on location and provided there is good signal strength. How do you do connect ethernet connection on TV:T0 -
Got ethernet lead but no place for it on back of TV like on back of Wi-fi box. :TMost smart TV's can be connected to the internet by either ethernet or Wi-Fi, ethernet is more reliable but can be inconvenient if the router is not within reasonable distance, Wi-Fi can be reliable depending on location and provided there is good signal strength.0
