A member asked whether a website called Cha Electronics was safe. Somebody calling themself deannyye86 registered and reckoned basically that they were the best thing since sliced bread

I provided a detailed reply as to why Cha Electronics are a bunch of out and out scammers but apparently accusing deannye86 of being a spammer amounts to personal abuse.
SHAME on you Money Saving Expert.

Where does it say in that thread that you accusing deannye86 of being a spammer and that amounts to personal abuse?
I can see some text has been removed from your post by MSE team.
Did you get a pm from the mods?
Have some posts been removed?
Anybody with half a brain cell would read your (well-researched) post and not touch this company with the proverbial bargepole.0 -
The post has been edited by MSE ForumTeam3, with the reason given at the bottom as 'personal abuse'.0

Doh! I didn't notice that.0

I guess the forum team are busy and don't investigate things properly they just delete stuff like that and move on.
They are just as bad if not worse when it comes to advising people to email the CEO office of companies to get obvious CS screwups resolved. The obvious website for finding such email addresses gets hit with the profanity filter see - http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ and I've had posts deleted when I've given advice to do so and explained how to find the email.
I've had success with the CEO offices of both BT and VM. When you feel you are hitting your head against a brick wall it is always worth a try.
I've resolved that the next time I get a post removed for that advice I will quit MSE for good - I already waste far too much time here already.0 -
Well I dont know about that thread yet haven't seen yet, but I can vouch for Coopdivi being a good member and goes the extra mile in highlighting to many members sites that look dodgy and hopefully stirring people away from them so they dont get scammed0

I don thtink you are being fair to MSE a little here - they dont control who can and can not sign up and I see that the person who did sign up has now had their post deleted.
Its the same with many open forums and its seen in here on a regular basis that 1st posters only find a thread - sometimes a few years old and post how great a company were but its good that people are vigilant enough to catch them out.
I wouldnt take it too personal.Dont rock the boat

The issue with that site is that it breaks one of the most basic rules on this site to not post individuals personal details. I suspect that this site would have been fine to post if it were not for a particular user (SirMarcus) who would post it on every single thread.
It is not the most effective way of dealing with a matter - it is best used as a last resort.0 -

Yes before anyone asks i am a newbie.
However i was interested in buying a tv from Cha Electronics and saw what people had been saying and took the suggestions and comments seriously. I thought that as a potential way forward i would suggest to the company that i would pick up the Tv directly and pay at shop. I also thought i should let other forum users know of my approach and that i would give feedback on how this worked out. i put a post on to more or less say the above. Yet within 60 minutes my unbiased and positive post was removed!
Really, where are we living, what level of censorship is being handed out here.
As a point of fairness i also advised the company when talking to them about my concerns and how i would continue with the purchase if they were agreeable. I also advised them about the posts on this forum, so that they could have the opportunity to address such negative press. Why?, because i own several businesses myself and believe companies should address what is being said about them if its wrong.
In summary i have been left shocked and disappointed that i as a private citizen have had my comments removed from the cha electronics link. What is the point of a forum if if theirs is clearly biased vetting especially what i deemed as a positive comment on other posters on this website and that i was open minded about trying to do business with the company in question.
What country or prospective is being used to take down an honest and unbiased opinion.
Yet i read above that someone else who wanted to defend cha electronics has also had their post removed.
So to be clear, put an opinion forward that is not in line with a minority and your posts are removed.
Fantastic!
So the initial posts are all negative and not open minded, where as i take their comments on board and dont do business with the company in the manner the other posters have concerns over, but i try to ascertain and will provide feedback about attempting to do business with the company via a different payment method. Yet this approach is censored.
Is this the Uk or china?0 -
Ahh so now we have the Newbie who is using over emotive phrases and words to describe the posters on here and for some reason thinking we are a commie country by asking about being in China.
If that doesnt scream that they are from this company then I dont know what does.
Maybe this newbie poster cn tell us all about their shop and where it is and adress the issues that Coopdivi has posted about the website and such like and therefore give us more of an idea of how magical this company are to them??
Google maps doesnt seem to show a shop called Cha Electronics so how on earth did this poster find their shop!!Dont rock the boat
