  • Does it not strike you as fishy that they will not let you visit their imaginary store that no one can find physically exists????

Let me put it another way to you - people on here who have been here for a good few years are used to this sort of behaviour when they find a dodgy looking dealer for the reasons that Coopdivi has pointed out. They have no store, their feedback is apparently lifted from Currys and yet you come along saying all good things about them yet you havent yet really had any experience with them and you expect us all to think yeah we'll believe you?

Nah, we were not all born yesterday.

I have answered your question, I have nothing to do with the company.

If you go to the website you will find their address, and also a link to google maps showing their shop.

As reported i am in the northeast, and if they take me up on my alternative method of paying and collecting the goods then i will drive to the shop, two hours away.

So if you actually took that breath, and got off your high horse maybe you would see that i was simply trying to give the business that was being berated a chance to prove such beliefs wrong. But according to you, such an approach is one to be assumed without evidence as someone linked to the business, or belittled for trying.

I repeat again, i have spoken to them on the telephone, and emailed them, using all the details on their site, advised them of my alternative methods i would be happy to do business on, but they have NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTED.

So they may well be not good to deal with, which looks more likely with every minute that passes whereby they don not take me up on my offer, but i tried directly with them before going to an ultimate conclusion, that was not solely based on web search methods alone.
  • Now obviously I check the website again and ring up the number on there - please note gik - the correct address and give them a call

He didnt even know where his store was located as he even asked me his own stores postcode when I said I wanted to visit!! He then couldnt tell me which subway was closest he just said 'Subway, yes' to me and only when I mentioned 2 - 1 which is closest and the other at St Georges Cross that he repeated Kelvin hall to me!!

All this little bit of easy investigative work kind of backs up what Coopdivi said and it screams that something is not right with this buisness

Please note they have never refused me being able to visit their shop, and i have never suggested this, so i have no idea why this is being suggested by you.

I have simply not gone as its over two hours away.

Of course you may well be right that the google street maps showing their shop is wrong, but there it is at least on google maps. And nor you or i have physically tried to go to the shop so therefore i am not able to 100% claim it physically exists, nor can you claim 100% it does not.

But again, thank you for proving the point that someone who at least tries, is belittled by you, and that you think that you and a few others who are simply members of a forum are more wise than the rest of us all, simply because you are a forum member.

    My goodness.

    .

I have already done that myself thanks as I mentioned in post #11

And if you use the map on google and just move the marker a little bit further the shop with its funny looking sign turns into a beirut barbers or cafe india tapas.

So that is going to take some explaining given its an uptodaate street view on normal maps now ;)

The Great Western road address is roughly mid way between Hillhead and Kelvinbridge subway (underground/tube) stations. The nearest station to Trongate address is St Enoch. I'd avoid them.
  • Well at least one of us got the address right eh ;)

Well i can now advise that the time span i give this company to accept the alternative method of doing business with them that i would be happier with, has passed, and i have not had a reply. I accept that my direct experiences lead me to stop trying to do business with the company from afar.

However to to recap my experiences.

    1. I was concerned about the method of payments this company requested.
    2. I looked on the web to ascertain what peoples opinion was re the company and came across the posts on this site, and agreed with them re things did not look right.
    3. I posted a comment on the site that i appreciated peoples comments, but would attempt to do business with the company but seek a different method of making payment and i would report back on my experience.
    4. this original post was removed within 60 minutes.
    5. my shock and therefore i made comments that an unbiased post being removed was like censorship from the likes of china
    6. individuals therefore suggested that my opinions of my post being removed within 60 minutes and my comments against this resulted in comments being made i was obviously linked to the company.
    7. I have simply tried to ascertain for my self which i was more than happy to share if it was positive or not, via direct action if an alternative method of doing business with the company was possible.
    8. However this journey has educated me in that clearly an approach to confirm or prove wrong; negative reviews is seen as pointless. Therefore should a negative review be posted by a few select people, your posts will be removed if it does not agree with them.
    9. Your intellect and independence is questioned based on no facts other than you state you are going to ascertain for yourself if the negative reviews are justified.
    10. Confirmation in my beliefs why forums are taken over by a few who post a great deal and attack any opposing views. Now i know why there is a warning about forum members against attacking new members...
    11. The king has no clothes on, and heaven forbid should you attempt to prove otherwise, and by the way if the forum says the world is flat....
