Hi
Not sure if this belongs in here, but here goes. I have set up a DMP with stepchange and first payment taken, but the problems is that one of the creditors took the normal monthly payment from my bank account at TSB, I have got a basic bank account with another bank which income has been paid into. I was at the maximum od with TSB and this is part of the DMP, but they allowed this payment to go through now rocking up the unathorised part of it. I have written to the creditor that took the payment about this and cancelled the DD, Do I also need to write to the bank to get them to reverse the transaction or shoud the creditor do this themselves?:)
Thank you

If you have cancelled your authority for a creditor to take regular payments from your debit card then you may be able to ask TSB to reclaim the payment.
Give their Debit Card Disputes team on 0345 835 7926 and they may be to help.
If the payment that shouldn't have gone through is another direct debit, then call TSB on 03459 758 758.0 -
If it is a DD then call TSB and ask them to do a DD indemnity claim
