    I'll be using my online saving account for my transfers, not convinced that I could keep my hand out of a jar of £1 coins for a whole year :D

    That was my problem last year it was just to easy to borrow out of the pot. I do like to put spare change in though. So I transfer on line and cash in the pot when it mounts up a bit.

  • Whitesatin, thanks for sharing that. I have done the same thing for years, buying things for gifts and then not being able to resist giving them to the recipients throughout the year, on dates they were not originally intended to be given. I am going to try much harder in 2015, to not do that.
