You've just reminded me that I opened a CU account a couple of months ago with £10. We have one close by so instead of keeping money at home, I will pop in once a week and put it in there.[Deleted User] wrote:£35 put into Credit Union this weekend.
My intention for opening that account was to set up a standing order for two amounts, £25pm which I am now saving as I am on SIMM card only now - I should be able to buy a new phone outright if needed in a year or so, and, the other amount will be £50pm which is what we budget for gifts over the year (including birthdays, Christmas, wedding and new babies, lol). Now I will be boosting my Christmas fund, unbeknown to my husband, with the saving of £1 a day. Should be fun this time next year.0 -

I've now set up a standing order to transfer £7 weekly on a Monday, I've added last week's and this week which should really only be £14 but I transferred £16 as it's been a long day and today's the 8th so I doubled that to get 16, I transferred the cash before I realised and now I'm going to leave it there!
I should say, I can be a bit dippy, especially when I'm tired! :rotfl:new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00
