Now at 14 :). Thinking that at beginning of each month put £28/30/31 in savings :) x
    Debt (1/9/14) £6,702.11 Debt free (30/11/2016) mortgage port- £70,077.82 and mortgage £126,517.39 o/s currently
    Debt - £17,190.83 (29/7/22) now (19/8/22) £16,688.80
  • Everyone is ticking away nicely here, Monz that is what I have done transfer £31 over to a esavings account on payday I don't want to be spending too often after Christmas to have the change to hand x
    Weightloss -36.5lb/64lb.
    Christmas savings £200/£800.
    Hol savings £300 /£500.
    Birthday savings £50 /£100.
    100 days #20 Credit union £40/£1150
  • Yeah Monz, I have done the same as ADragon...transfer £31 into a different account on payday so I know the money won't be spent on anything else in the meantime. Love the idea of potting £1 a day in hard cash as I think it would give you more of a buzz than a direct transfer once per month, but it just wouldn't work for me like that!

I guess as long as the money is being saved, it doesn't matter how :)

  • I have just changed my method of saving from the glass jar to the Tesco internet saver as found the jar full of £1 coins was just too tempting to dip into for car parking change and have missed days because I did not have any £1 coins. I have put the whole £31 into the saver account and sent my form off. :)

Evening all :), you're all doing fabulously, and in my opinion it doesn't matter how you save it, whether it be jar, tin, online etc etc, the point is we are saving it!! Go Us!! My £ potted today (mine is in its own tin) x
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
