Hello you mad bunch :rotfl:
Not too sure how many of you follow me on my savings diary, but today was a great day for me. My partner put in an offer for a house for us after we really liked it. So delighted and hope we get it.
As of now, I'm on holiday and won't be online at all until next weekend. My partner and I are getting the early flight out to Paris which is going to be amazing
All the newcomers have been added to both the spreadsheet and the members list. I have reviewed all the update sheets and updated the spreadsheet accordingly. Please pits whilst I'm away and encourage each other to save. My commanding officer AlwaysHappy will be left in charge to welcome the newbies and solve any issues.
Take care out there, the weather is getting worse. For now, bon-voyage fellow money savers

Hope you have a FABULOUS time in Paris MrCF....I LOVE LOVE LOVE Paris....it's such a wonderful City....I'd love to go and share it with someone that I love....unfortunately the last time I went with someone that I loved we both got Food Poisoning...LoL...so, NOT such a great break for us!! But I'm sure that won't happen for you hun and I hope you have a lovely romantic time....and we shall look forward to seeing you next Weekend...
I'm up to date with my Tin....Will put in the next lot on Wednesday Evening for the following Week...0 -
Morning everyone!
I'm putting another £10 in my tin today(for this week) as don't need to get the bus so that's mine and the boys bus fare plus a couple of quid extra. Not as satisfying sticking 2 five pound notes in my tin than pound coins clunking. But so much more satisfying when we open it this time next year and count the pennies. Hope everyone has a good week :beer:Long time MSE user, I've had to re-register as I've lost my log in details:o

Goodness me - I've never been a commanding officer before - hope I can rise to the occasion!!Welcome to all the joiners, and yes, of course that includes you Lubava - grab yourself a tin and join in the swing of it. We are getting quite a following now! I have potted my £ for the day - can't slack now - have to lead by example! I'd better go and trot off in a bit to update my signature. Hope MrCrimeFiction has a fabulous time on his jaunt and keeping my fingers crossed the regarding his house purchase.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

Welcome to all the new joiners. Great to see so many of you on here now. Should be a nice tasty amount of money saved up between us by next Christmas
Enjoy Paris MCF and fingers crossed your offer is accepted on the house. We're saving like mad for a deposit to buy so can't wait unti the day we can finally put an offer in on something
I was thinking about your spreadsheet too. Would it be possible (no worries if not) if you could add in a total percentage saved (ie: the percentage of the £29930 saved so far). Just thought it would be extra interesting to see the accumulative percentage creep up too. Like I said, no worries if it's not possible or a daft idea, I just like looking at numbers heheDebt free since May 20150 -
