We also ask all INRs to confirm their address. I accept that a dodgy person might then lie about their address once they realise, but I have never had anyone change their mind from asking for a replacement to suddenly wanting a refund.
By asking for the address to be confirmed we have discovered a very high number of people have given the wrong address. In these cases we inform the buyer that its not our fault and they will either have to retrieve it from the incorrect address or buy another one. Not one of those people has ever escalated it to a case or left negative feedback.
The other thing we do with INRs is to phone their local RM Delivery Office. Its surprising how many items are sat there waiting for collection but the postie has not left a card.0 -
You should sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to claims. One woman told me I had sent the wrong item, and when I asked for the product code of the item received she started sending me random streams of numbers trying to guess a product code, as if I was some kind of computer.
There are those out there who seem to justify themselves in pulling a scam, either the world owes them something because they've had such a difficult life, or in contrary to this, blame the seller, well he should send another after not posting the first one on time... then after those people come the game players who try to work the system, the ones laughing at the world, then the really naïve, that fall into the worlds dumbest criminals and usually get caught, always on the lookout for a scam, and finally we enter the realm of the people with personality disorders but lets not go there.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
