Have a great day xxA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

i picked up my keys yesterday and can now properly start my journey to mortgage freedom. The EA says the property has already gained approx £15k in value since I put my offer in back in August so thats a bonus. Now to slap up the magnolia paint and put some new carpets in my bedroom before i move in

Ooooh I'm so jealous! We're still waiting on (it feels like) everything with our purchase!
I know what you mean about your parents... I love mine, but there's a reason I moved out!:rotfl:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Getting very excited now, the bedroom is decorated and carpeted, not totally happy with the colour of the carpet but once I get furniture in it'll be fine. Will be living there from Wednesday night

Desperately want to make my first overpayment but know I've got to wait till I've finished paying the first bills and furniture etc, although I have got £10 in my cash back account so might use that. Might sit down with the laptop later and fiddle with accounts.
So much I want to do and can't decide where to start, time to go write a list!Mortgage started 02/2015 opening balance -£183,349
