Where are they finding the space? Are the aisles narrower or is it just the seats?0

It's both, you're sitting closer to the person alongside you, and if in an aisle seat you're more likely to be touched by traffic moving up and down the aisle.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

BA has ordered A350 aircraft, it'll be interesting to see if these will be 3-3-3 or 3-4-3, Virgin have also ordered them.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

It's not bizarre. The BA announcement was made 4th Nov 16, no point starting a new thread.
Money savers who travel in economy are getting less space for their money.
Not really. Less space maybe, but if u can fly to Asia or TA for under £350 RTN (not necessarily BA) which is as low as its ever been pro rata to inflation the airlines have to find savings somewhere.0 -
Watch the fares not fall, it's a BA win, moneysavers lose.
I think BA will spin that fares would have risen much more, but for the 'more space-efficient' seating arrangement.
At least the new seat map gives 48 W seats, up from 24, so there is more opportunity to buy yourself out of sardine class.
Haven't flown BA myself for over 12 years. It was Lord King who initially turned me against them.0 -
