Flew Qatar A380 in September from LHR to Doha.
Excellent aircraft, and if you book direct you choose your seats for all sectors as part of the booking process.
Only thing I didn't like was the all-day savoury snack, but I can live with little problems like that.
Thoroughly recommend Qatar Air if going longhaul to SE Asia.0 -
In all the hundreds of flights I have taken I can't recall a single one where the seat was SO uncomfortable it made the flight memorably bad.
Short or long haul I always get an aisle seat and spend a fair amount of time standing up,wandering about and stretching my legs.
That,a few G&T's and a decent book to read passes the time well and I always arrive rested and reading to go.0 -
If one had to turn right on entering the aircraft one would probably choose to go by ship instead.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I used to have this attitude but then I realised that the problem was not the size of the seat, it was the size of my backside. So I worked on reducing that and, voila, comfy traveller!

I have found that it is not so much the width of the seat as whether or not the person in front of you drops their seat back
