People who shush my daughter when she's babbling or getting a wee bit grumpy-I can't leave any quicker because of the massive queues so get over it!
The one extremely rude checkout operator who shouted at my daughter to "just bloody be quiet!" And then refused to apologise when I got the manager over.
Either of those two scenarios happened two me I'd have been kicked out of the store for verbally ripping the heads off the people.
Nobody but me/family deal with my daughter happened last year at a local church fund raising event- surface to say we have not been invited back.0 -
The woman (always a woman) who waits behind 3 or 4 in the Q then after getting her messages starts to look through first her handbag for 5 minutes to find her purse, takes out the money then looks through he handbag again for another purse where she starts to rummage and unfold various 5P 10P off vouchers which invariably turn out to be out of date.
They are then religiously refolded and replaced in the purse to reappear next time no doubt.......:mad:0 -
1. Supermarkets that put the slowest of slow people on the checkout when they are super busy. Why is it always me that ends up choosing this till? I now recognise the slow till staff at local Tesco and avoid them.
2. People who allow their children to RUN around the supermarket. I know I'll get moaned at about this one. I'd like to say that I don't mind children crying/moaning, I don't blame them as I feel like doing the same when shopping. But running at break neck speed isn't safe and its annoying.
3. People thinking that its a social gathering and blocking isles while they natter.
Lots more to list, but I think I'll just leave it there0 -
Worse one for me is those (usually men with kids in the trolley) who don't actually look where they're going! They're either looking at the child, the list, their mobile, or the shelf - but not what's in front of them!!!
I have an assistance dog who's only little, and I've lost count of the number of times I've had to physically stop them, so they dont run into him.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

When folk shush her I just tell her it's ok, she can be as noisy as she likes and to pay no attention to the rude, grumpy person that shushed her. Usually followed by a glare in their direction.
The checkout assistant got booted off her seat and the manager served me instead. I don't tend to get annoyed very easily but when folk moan at my daughter I see red!0 -
When people just dart from aisle to aisle in a complete random order. If everyone with a trolley followed a line up and down the aisles then I wouldn't constantly get a trolley in my back/hip/arm/leg. Older people are the worst for this. Plenty of times I've had a little old lady just ran her trolley into me and then glared at me as though I was in her way!0

The families who insist on doing the shopping en masse with mum, dad and three kids, one usually screaming.
It must be torture for them, it certainly is for me."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

This too! Surely its easier and quicker for the family to just have one parent go in the store? When I come to having kids, they won't be going shopping with me!!0 -
People who ignore the "Checkout closed" signs. I feel sorry for the checkout assistants who repeatedly have to point this out, to then be tutted at."Always fulfil your needs, only fulfil your wants when your needs are no longer a concern" - citricsquid0
