Your credit score us a made up number and means very little. you can have a 999 and get rejected. you need to meet a lenders own criteria. if you make payments on time and you aren't maxed on credit and your debt is less than 50% of your annual wage and are on the electoral roll that's all you need. any ccj's defaults payday loans taken out mean you will get rejected by the big lenders.

:jApparently there is a service that offers you your credit information from the 3 CRA's simultaneously for approx £70 and with an initial free trial period. Do you know what this service is and who the third CRA is?

This is not a good idea. It costs far more than obtaining them individually and does not contain all of the info from your 3 individual reports, despite what they say/advertise.

The only way to know what is on all your credit files is to obtain copies of them all. The 3 credit reference agencies to get your reports from are experian (also known as callcredit), equifax, and noddle (also known as callcredit). Either use these companies free trials and cancel them or you can get the same data by getting the £2 statutory report from each of them.

Don't think experian are also known as callcredit. Yes Noddle is part of callcredit.
  • i did register on a website which had a free 1-month trial offer. i got a credit report from and then cancelled my account immediately. they didn't charge me. is that the same type of report as what's being discussed here?
