Some people have had success claiming off the 3rd party insurer for consequential loss in these instances. Not sure if that is possible here.0

Tbh I dont think it actually asked that question as I was stood with her when she went through it.
many thanks
I just did a quick quote and it says:
"Have you had, or caused any accidents, claims or damage involving any motor vehicle, in the past 5 years, whether or not a claim was made, regardless of blame?"
I wpuld take the £150 as it's better than them cancelling it.0 -
The MID isn't the claims database! (Which is CUE)
(MID is the database showing insured vehicles)
Yes you're right - don't know why I said MID, it's not what I meant.
I didn't think CUE held data about victims though? Only about policy holders who've made claims.
How about a subject request report op?0 -
Yes, but my point is if the instructor was the policy holder and made a claim then his details would be on the database, would ops though ?
The OP's girlfriends details would normally be recorded on the database as the driver of the vehicle.
No different from you having a policy for your car with your wife as a named driver. If your wife had an accident then the details would be noted along with her name.0 -
This thread is most interesting.
Could it be that those who see the pound signs when bumped slightly from behind now find the karma coming back to bite them in the wallet?0 -
