£150 is a small price to pay. If they cancelled her policy for non-disclosure, or if they was forced to pay out then pursued her personally for reimbursement of £000s then she'd soon regret not being honest when taking her policy out.
How did they find out? If she was only in the car then surely her details wouldn't be registered anywhere.... as far as I know only the policy holder/claimant is registered with the MID0 -

The MID isn't the claims database! (Which is CUE)

(MID is the database showing insured vehicles)0 -
To be honest arc I havnt a clue how they found out,seemed abit dodgie at the time but I fully understand now0

CUE is a database which holds details of claims/incidents and claimants. It is intended to keep premiums down for honest policyholders by stopping "misrepresentation" of claim histories.
You can find out what info they hold about your GF by her paying £10 and sending them an access request
