    Did you misunderstand me?

    I was agreeing with you.

Or were you inferring that I had an attitude problem.

I'm actually sympathetic to your predicament and I tried to explain how it could have come about.

And I think that some folks on here do have an attitude problem, and that's putting it mildly.

    I've obviously missed something here.

    Where's my pipe and slippers?

I'd better go get a mug of cocoa, then.

I do appoligise I thought you was taking a dig.

sometimes you asked a question on here and most people turn into a lawyer like they know everything.

    Darkmatter101 has left :)

You're statistically more likely to have a claim if you've had a claim, even one that's not your fault.
For the third time, it's pants.....!
You could be sat minding your own business when some nobhead hits you because they're on their phone, yet your insurance goes up.

    No sweat mate.

An innocent misinterpretation of the questions I think - and the insurance company viewed it like that, as they simply asked for more premium.

If they had thought it was more than an error - perhaps an attempt to deceive them - they would have cancelled the policy - giving her huge problems for years and years - as they always ask the question 'Have you ever had a policy cancelled.'

I think she should consider herself lucky, not to have worse than just an additional adjustment to the premium.

And I agree - not her fault - but she needed to declare it.

You got it right - if you don't have - or will never have your own insurance - then claim away as much as you like.

    Good luck.
