Has anyone bought a cake from newcakes.co.uk?

Did a search on here (and on google) but couldn't see any reviews at all. They deliver personalised cakes all over the UK and they have reasonable charges.

There website seems legit but has anyone purchased a cake from them?

The website shows it as 900 Yeovil Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4JA

Might be worth checking how far your cake has to come!

Just had the worst experience with them, cos I ordered a cake 3 weeks early which didn't turn up, and they even took payment from my card a week later after not sending the cake and till now they don't answer the phone nor their emails

Try phoning them and see if you get anyone to speak to apart from the voicemail

I'm sorry you had such a poor experience, but could you not have nipped to your local bakery/ supermarket etc and picked up a replacement to ensure the birthday was not ruined?

That means nothing. A lot of limited companies use registered office addresses.

You've missed the point. The post pointed out that they have used two variants on their registered office - and that certainly isn't allowed under Company Law!

WRONG

the address with Companies House is the registered address where all offical letters etc will goto, the address on their website could be an office address.

look at

Tesco
Asda
Argos

infact all major companies the Company registered address with companies house will be different to addresses listed on their website.
