Lucky as always you astound me. DH.. I would have clipped him around the earhole.
you've the patience of several saints!
Glad DS2 seeming better and better. Hope the swelling goes down entirely and there is no cyst to deal with. Did he have the last one drained under a GA? Can't imagine I would want to sit still whilst awake for something like that, let alone a little fella!!
Can't believe I will be here to watch you attain Debt Free status! I mean, I planned on sticking around, but... this YEAR!! :T:T:T whatever will you do with the spare money when it is all gone? Knowing you, throw it at the mortgageha!
Beanie is right, you make a huge huge difference, to a lot of people you've never even met, let alone those in your life.
You need to find nice things to do for YOU... Clubbercise counts thoughand sounds fab. Do you feel a bit better than you did yesterday re anxiety?
Hope Grandma gets well soon. Has she got antibiotics? On top of the inhalations (which do work wonders) she might need probiotic yoghurts to counter the antibiotics. Jelly is having probiotics in her drinks... not that she knows
I want to go out dancing or something now. Itchy feet thinking about clubbercise. :rotfl:
xx

Thanks for the prod, dear Lucky, much appreciated x
Great to hear you got two lots of "you" time, and Clubbercize sounds like such a brilliant activity.
Yay to imminent debt free status.
Hope DS is OK?What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Glad to read DS2 is recovering, Lucky, and you're finally getting some quality time - clubbercise sounds great fun!
Hope Grandma shakes off her bronchitis soon too (second Lilt's suggestions re probiotic yoghurt and eucalyptus inhalations).

Was thinking of you this morning and your donation to the food bank. You're a bit special you know. xx

You lot are lush and I'm so lucky to have you all, thank you Xx
Lilt, DS2 had to have the cyst removed under GA when he was 6 months old. Worst experience ever. They took him from me awake as they said it would be less traumatic than me watching him go to sleep, but when I was taken to him while he was woken up he was wailing and puking and ever so upset. I just couldn't calm him down and we were both in floods of tears. *TMI alert* They took the cyst out from under the eye lid so no visible wound, but he had a puffed up black eye for ages bless him and I felt like everyone thought I had beaten him up
. It's really not something I wish to repeat. Eye does look better but still isn't clear. Will give it a few more days.
Anxiety seems to be a bit less at the moment *touches wood*. Taking each day as it comes and focusing on positives. Today's good deed has been to drop some things off at a local hospice for their charity shop. I think I'm feeling guilty for giving up Beavers (still think it was the right decision though!), as I felt I was 'giving back to the community' while doing it and now I'm doing nothing.
Grandma is back in hospital:(:(. Waiting for an update.
DH and I went for a wander round the metro centre this morning. I got myself some new knickersand a couple of bits from Primani. DH got a hoodie from a shop that is closing down for £10 instead of £50! So spends, but good spends.
Off to chub club now!! Wish me luck! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Woohoo for new knickers
and very glad you are feeling a bit less anxious than you have. The giving back to the community thing does make sense, but giving up Beavers was still a great decision. There are tonnes of things you can do that take no money and not nearly as much time... Maybe think of the next 12 months as donating to the Lucky household - this is your year. You become debt free, and think of the funds that releases... maybe then you can set up a standing order to a local centre to give something back once you are debt free?
You give a heck of a lot to an online community here every single day...
So sorry to hear about Grandma. She is in the best place I am sure and getting the best care to get her back on her feet. Big hugs, will be sending my prayers her way
GOOD LUCK at chub club!!! xx

Good luck at chub club (dare I even ask what that is? Lol)
You sound like you are doing great Lucky, keeping the anxiety at bay on a one day at a time basis is a great plan, one I am doing too and seems to be working - so easy to be snowballed and overwhelmed by it otherwise. Focusing on the positives, another winner. Keep talking cysts and pus and gunk and whatever else you like, it makes me feel very at home (well at work but you know what I mean) Hope your son is fully recovered ASAP though. Loads of Love..
