Well done to your DS's, you must be very proud of them both. xx
  • Sneaking back in after being MIA all week, sorry.

It’s been a funny old week. Started in a mope as it was an angel baby due date anniversary, which probably affected me more because I was already feeling down. DH and I had lots of squabbles and I just wanted to hide away.
I had a night at a friend’s house with wine, and I’ve had a lunch date with my Sister and Grandma today, and my mood is improving :T.

DH had the results of his biopsy, and it’s definitely Lichen Planus. There’s a small chance it can turn malignant (), so he has to get it checked every 3 months. He also had a reaction to the steroid mouthwash they gave him and he looked like a chipmunk :(. On top of that he has sticky eyes, which is probably hay fever, but is something else to keep an eye on (no pun intended :rotfl:).

Can’t remember if I mentioned it, but I won a photoshoot for the dog :D. The shoot and one print were the prize, as long as we agreed that the photographer can use any images for a competition he’s entering himself. Anyway, long story short we were convinced to all be in some of the photos, and of course they turned out amazing. Against my better financial judgment, I have ordered some extra photos on top of the freebie one :o, so I need to cover the cost of those.

Have made a few sales on eBay from the things my sister donated :T

  • Sorry you were feeling low but glad you feel a bit better now.

Great news on the photo shoot win and I'm sure you'll treasure the photos for years to come. That photographer knows what he's about ;).

Sorry DH isn't too well at the moment. I hope things improve for him soon.

Morning PLMBL :) Hope you're feeling a bit brighter today. DH sounds like he's having it rough at the moment, which I'm sure is having a knock on effect. :o DD used to suffer from geographical tongue. Must admit I'd never heard of it but the GP took one look and diagnosed.

The photo shoot sounds great and if they're as good as the ones I've seen that friends and family have had done, I defy anybody not to buy extras ;)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend. xx
  • Afternoon all.

DH spent some time with Best Mate today so I got some alone time :j. Can’t remember the last time!! Enjoyed it while it lasted.

Re the photos, I know I’m biased but the boys look gorgeous! Totally thinking of pimping them out as models :rotfl:. Looking forward to getting the prints.

MiL went off on holiday again today with a friend .

Spent a lot of the day catching up on emails and surveys etc. And ironing. Where does it all come from?! Xx

  • I’ve downloaded the CheckoutSmart app after watching the Tonight programme about savvy shopping. GreenJin was mentioned, which I already use, but I now have CheckoutSmart also. Thanks to that, I got 3 things ‘free’ today - chicken bits, peperami rolls and yogurt. You have to pay for the items first, then snap a photo of your receipt and they refund you :money:. Apart from the yogurt, the things I got aren’t what I would normally buy, but with 3 hungry boys to fill it all helps! There were also coupons for money off items, but I only went for the freebies Xx
