Afternoon all.
It’s half term :j. 9 whole days of no school runs. Hopefully we all won’t end up killing each other (ever the optimist!). We only have plans for one day - Seeing Dippy the diplodocus skeleton which we had to book for but it’s free :j. Will wing the rest. Weather isn’t supposed to be very good next week though
.
I ended up having lots of Xrays yesterday - abdomen, pelvis, chest . The results should be with GP by end of next week. I’ve also had to drop off urine samples 3 days running to see if the blood has continued. Hate waiting -SA will tell you that :rotfl:.
Money has been extremely tight the last couple of days. Don’t know what we would’ve done without the eBay sales/clothes weigh in. Got tax credits today, and also my Carer’s Allowance early as Monday is Bank Holiday, so have been able to do some shopping and get petrol. Still need to think of something to bring in money longer term though XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

At least the xrays are done & hopefully you dont have to wait too long for the results.
Glad that you have some money in though.
Enjoy having no school runs.

I bet the boys enjoy half term Lucky and it means you'll get some lie ins.
I hope you get good results back from the X rays, I'm sure they're just a precaution. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

At least you've had a thorough MOT if nothing else. Hopefully all is well. Be patient :rotfl:
Enjoy the half term break xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Haven’t been anywhere this weekend, but have been a busy bee. Wrote a ‘To-Do’ list yesterday. Some things easily ticked off - clean bathroom/DS2’s room/list on EBay etc, others are longer projects for the coming weeks/months. Have also been entering lots of competitions and doing surveys.
Feeling a bit like I’m flapping hard and getting nowhereXx

Sometimes the fact you're flapping hard and not going backwards is just as important. I know it's hard but be kind to yourself. I'm currently flapping away here too. I try to remind myself occasionally how much worse it would be if I stopped the flapping. Unthinkable.0

Thank you for the perspective. I’ve also just been reminded how lucky we actually are by reading another MSE’rs diary. Time for another kick up the backside to stop feeling so sorry for myself XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
