Thanks both. Night was quite quiet, but he's been doing strange stuff today, like bringing me an empty cup to drink!!
Took doggie to the beach late morning. It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny. More of that please universe!! Even hung some washing out this afternoon :T.
Splashed out on some chips (insert piggy smilie).
Ears and chest still hurt. Plodding on.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

At least you can get away from it all walking the dog on the beach - if only temporarily. Hope your ears and chest feel better soon xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks SA, feeling a bit better today, but think I've passed it back to DS2 (who gave it to me in the first place
).
Anyway, on a happier note, it's half term :j:j. 10 days off for the boys.
DH and I went into town today as my boots literally fell apart yesterday. Disappointed as I only got them in the Black Friday sale, so about 4 months ago. You get what you pay for I suppose, and I think I paid about £15. Found an even better bargain in Primarni today - one pair left, my size and reduced to £5!! If they last a month I'm doing ok :rotfl:. Once the better weather appears I'll be living in my FitFlops, so hopefully they'll get me that far Xx

Well done on the bargain boots, my work ones are looking past there best but i'm not buying any new ones as I know as soon as it starts to get warmer I will be wearing ballet pumps and sandals for work, so they have to last me the next six weeks until the Easter hols.
Glad to hear yopur feeling a bit better, but sorry to hear DS has it back, fingers crossed he will be better soon and can enjoy the half term break.0 -
Excellent bargain boots, Lucky, :j with any luck they'll last longer than their predecessors!
Hope DS2 perks up soon and you all enjoy the freedom of half term.

I bought two pairs of ankle boots in Primani a few months ago in the sale and they've been great (although can only wear the low heeled ones at the moment). As you say if they don't last that long it won't be the end of the world at that price.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks all. Boots are pretty flat SA as I specially wanted them for walking the dog, and also my Plantar Fasciitis is playing up again so any decent heel gives me grief
. They've been great so far
. I did however remember that Oakley chewed my FitFlops before Christmas , so I need new ones of those too
. Got a few second hand pairs on watching on eBay, hoping for another bargain.
Spent most of the day spring cleaning, and have a few things listed on eBay to sell. Have more to put on, but took DS2 (who is much better again thanks) to a party this afternoon and couldn't be bothered when I got back. Today has also been a NSD :T.

Glad DS2 is feeling better!
Now must show my ignorance: What is special about Fitf!ops? Found some 'photos on-line, but they don't look anything extraordinary to me, or worth the price tag - so what's the secret, please?
(Asked she, who usually sports traditional camposino sandals in summer; guaranteed to last because they are soled with recycled car tyres, nice and soft on top with kid leather straps. Price £5 - very MSE, and pretty resistant to puppy teeth as well!).0
