The good news - Lost 6.5lbs this week :j:j.

The bad news - What was supposed to be a small repair job on the roof is now a whole new roof, brick work and re-rendering :mad::(. Thank the Lord for MiL who has stepped in to help us out :A Xx

Great news re the weight loss but bad news about the roof - bet it's gutting Mr Lucky as an ex-roofer.

Thought he would - Mr SA noticed some house being built locally ready for roofing - he reckons he could get there easily on his scooter. You have to laugh or you'd cry.

  • You certainly do SA :rotfl::(.

Today has been a NSD :T. Walked to the gym and walked back again. Won't be doing that again in a hurry :rotfl:. Far too much! Also been to GP to get DH's latest blood results. His sodium has dipped again, so he'll be retested in a few weeks and if it's still low he'll need to increase his tablets again. He already takes 23 pills a day bless him!

Booked our Legoland/Harry Potter Studios trip last night using my Carer's Payment. Super excited! We go in the 6 week holidays. Used the website Mummy2girls recommend, and trawled trip advisor to decide on the hotel. Called Harry Potter studios seperately to ask about Carer's tickets so saved £20 there too :T.

Well done to Mr Lucky. It must make him feel good when he gets to do something like that. Glad new roof finished in time. Mr SA and DS put us a brand new roof on about 7 years ago thankfully.
