  • Cheers all, seizure didn't progress to TC :T. Pleased about that as it's DH's birthday tomorrow and we have a family meal today.

Not impressed with the change in weather but makes it easier to get work done inside the house. Trying to simultaneously clear loft/outhouse and get DS1's room ready for decorating. I keep branching off into random stuff like tidying the cupboard under the stairs though so it's taking a while :p. Still plodding on with the PiP forms too, which are almost done, and need to bite the bullet and send them back. Nervous I haven't filled them in well enough but I know that's silly.

Also been looking at trips/ways to spend my Carer's payment over the summer. DS2 wants to go back to Legoland but stay in the Legoland hotel while we are there. The price for 2 nights plus park tickets is £950 . So that's not happening! Might combine a trip to Legoland with Harry Potter studios and stay in a cheap hotel.

PLMBL, check out this website if you're planning legoland: https://www.budgetfamilybreaks.co.uk this is who we booked through. We didn't stay in the legoland hotel we stayed about half an hour away in a doubletree by Hilton and our whole package was £148.00 xx

Happy Birthday to Mr L tomorrow. Glad the seizure didn't progress. Mr P's birthday next week too. What cheap treats do you have in store for him? I am looking for cheap inspiration.

Have you considered a house swap for your legoland visit? We have done a lot now and find it saves us loads plus a house has everything you need to cook meals etc.

  • Hi all, sorry for my absence, too busy eating my body weight (which is A LOT!) in cake and other niceties!!

So Mr Lucky turned 38 on Monday. We had a family meal with the boys and our Mums etc on Sunday (made a fool of myself thinking I knew some folk there, and then realised they were off the telly! :rotfl:). We then went to a pudding place just he and I on Monday.

Tuesday was our wedding anniversary so we ate more rubbish to celebrate that too. Suffice to say I gained 6lbs at chub club and I'm practically back where I started :(. DH ate WAY more than me and only gained 2lbs . All celebrating is over now though and I've eaten properly today.

Beanie, I am indeed including medical evidence, along with the Adult Social Care Assessment report. He is in the Support Group of ESA. Mrs H, I hope you aren't too frazzled with the renewal!

Mummy, that site is brilliant, thank you. Pretty sure I'll be booking through them, though it's a bit more than you paid with it being summer holiday time. Not too much more though, great deals Xx

Pooh, I hope Mr P has a lovely birthday. I just gave Mr Lucky some liquorice allsorts, a toblerone and some cash into his next tattoo fund *rolls eyes*.
