  • granny you should be so super chuffed at that. I am lucky that both my mum and MiL are very young at heart and look that way too. I am sure my knickers are more granny like than theirs! How lovely to be seen as the 'younger' one ;)

MiT :rotfl: I love kids. So innocent.

Quote of today from Jelly was priceless. Baking cookies and she is mixing away at the mixture. She thinks cookie dough is called 'Fingers out' genuinely. so kept asking me for 'some fingers out mummy?' So cute.

How cute Jelly is. My sister used to call cake cooking remnants 'cooks prillivillages' instead of privileges. Still makes me smile now when I think about it.

  • Hi lucky I am glad you got out and had some wine - little things like that keep you sane. I hope that yesterday wasn't too awful for you, perhaps it was nice that your mum was distracted and busy. I am sure your sister also appreciated having you there with everything else she has on too x

Speaking of fur... and thinking of Mrs H's nice knickers.... :o I was in the shower and jelly came in yesterday whilst I was washing (because one cannot shower in peace in my house). She leant into the shower, and gave my lady 'garden' a good look... before stating 'wow big hair!' - I died a bit inside and grabbed the razor! :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Must do some gardening of my own :o

You lot have made me laugh with the things your kids come out with. When mine were very young I made the mistake of taking them with me to the doctors while I had a smear test. Despite the doctor giving them toys to play with they were fascinated by what he was doing. A few days later while sitting on the bus DS came out with the gem - "mummy remember when that man stuck his hand up your bottom" in a really loud voice. Everyone looked and I just wanted to curl up and die.

  • Lucky - Just caught up on your new diary. What a life you lead! I will never again moan about my free time - My life will probably be like heaven on a plate for you - other that you'd probably give it back saying its too boring! Hope DH and the kids are ok tonight and you get some sleep.

As for chub club - I get weighed in on Tuesdays too and I don't even want to go this week as I daren't find out how many pounds I have gained. I'd rather not know! If it weren't for the fact I'd get charged anyway - I'd skip it but you seem to be doing well - 4lb losses are great. Do you do WW or SW?

Hope today has been less manic

  • Loving all the stories peeps! Thanks for sharing :rotfl:. Sounds like I'm buying you all razors for Christmas :p.

Went back to the gym for the first time in a week this morning. That'll hurt tomorrow! DH has been ok but has no recollection at all of anything that happened yesterday. Whilst that isn't completely abnormal, it's not usual either for him to have forgotten the whole day so quickly. I rang the head injury hospital again today to find out why there had been no appointment sent out in the post as was promised 2 weeks ago. The secretary said someone would ring me tomorrow :(.

Beavers tonight. I had them all wrapping empty boxes in Christmas paper and attaching a ribbon and label that read...

This is a very special gift, that you can never see.
The reason it's so special is, it's just to you from me.
Whenever you are feeling lonely or even feeling blue.
You only have to hold this gift and know I think of you.
You never can unwrap it, please leave the ribbon tied.
Just hold the box close to your heart, it's filled with love inside.

Just thought I'd mention it incase anyone fancies making the same thing as gifts. Very cute and cheap as chips.

DS2 has his school nativity play tomorrow morning (and Wednesday morning too!). Cuteness overload!
