    Hope you're ok Lucky, and all is stress-free at Lucky Towers after the boys' sleep-over - belated Happy Birthday to DS1, btw.

  • Thank you Sparky, Mrs H and Robin.

    Sorry I've been AWOL. No major dramas, just been really busy.

    Quick run down;

    Spent more of my birthday vouchers/money on clothes in smaller sizes :j.

    DH has had several waves of fear the last few days and bouts of confusion, but no TC seizures. He's now 11 days post TC.

    Gained 6lbs at chub club :eek::o:eek::o. DH gained 10.5lbs!!!! Back on plan now.

    Warm Homes grant was approved :T.

    £200 utility refund arrived :D.

    And the best news of all - we've been awarded a grant of up to £500 to have a short break away as a family :j:j. It's through the Family Fund that the boys have their trust funds with and I saw on an email a few weeks ago that they were welcoming applications so I tried my luck! Thrilled Xx

    Fantastic news about the holiday grant - and a great incentive to lose those lbs. Where can you book, will it be for this year or next? Ooo, I'm excited for you!!!
    What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Lucky don't worry about putting on a little weight around your birthday - you have to relax sometimes!

    The best news is the £500! Amazing! Where are you thinking of going? Happy to suggest some West Country options, might be a little different to your previous trips? Well done for applying very happy for you x

    ..Wow! Can't wait to hear where you decide to go - so pleased for you! :D
    The rest of your news seems pretty good too (we'll ignore the blip on the scales caused by very justified celebrations of your birthday, you'll soon get rid of that ;)).
