Morning Lucky,
Hope Dh's good mood continues, it must be tough being a verbal punching bag and also knowing you can't have too much of a go at him as he can't help it. So tricky..
Your poor son, it makes me angry reading about bullies as my Ds has struggled on and off the last few years with children being mean to him. Its such a hard thing for them to deal with.
My Ds's main trouble is when a boy gets rough with him, he doesn't like to fight back so he then becomes an easy target, which then gets around and he seems to get it from all angles. Ds gets really upset and comes home wanting me to solve it for him, but unfortunately especially as they get older, he has to learn to stick up for himself.
We haven't had any issues so far this school year, just hoping Ds has taken in all the coaching we have done with him and punch back if someone tries something with him.
I always drive mine to school too, because there was trouble on the bus. Much better to avoid that if possible. xxxx0 -

Thanks everyone and welcome Peppacoin! Thank you for your kind words.
Up and down day today. DH was going to go out cycling with paramedic mate this morning, but cancelled due to more mini seizures. The sugar cravings were too strong for him to avoid though and he has had a bit of a binge. I'm embarrassed to say I've allowed myself to be dragged down with him after having a 'poor me' moment. I now of course feel 10 times worse.
We received a copy of the social worker's report today, and whilst it is spot on, it's depressing reading. Even though it's all things I know, it's a real downer to see all of the most negative things about DH's condition and our situation all listed together. It's all in good cause though and hopefully the extra support recommended for both of us will start sooner rather than later.
DH has gone out with Best Mate to cinema tonight. He seemed well enough but I'll admit to being worried after his dodgy few days. Must say though, I'm enjoying the alone time now the boys are in bed!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Still no seizures but DH continues to be vague/angry/not himself. Hey ho.
Busy few days of coffee mornings/afternoons at the boys' schools for Macmillan. The scales will groan when I step on them on Tuesday!! Been out gallivanting for Family Fun Friday tonight too, so my purse is feeling rather empty now.
Today should have been my Goddaughter's 18th. Forever 16 Xx

Thanks Buffy. I know it's a hard time for you too at the mo, hope you are doing ok Xx
Finally had a NSD - our first this month. Unfortunately, the main reason for this has been another bad day for DH (vague, confused, waves of fear), so we camped out in the house and watched a film. I've been to work tonight and MiL came round as usual, but I came straight back rather than doing any shopping as I was worried about DH. Truth be told I can't afford anything anway and I'm trying to make what we have stretch as far as possible.

Thanks SA, much appreciated. DH was very confused again first thing but has got a bit better as the day has gone on. His memory is shocking though, even by his standards!! I'm starting to get a bit worried as it's been a while since he was this bad for this many days in a row
.
Today has been another NSD :j. Wasn't going to be as we took DS1 to parkour, but he managed to hurt his ankle within minutes of getting there and wanted to go home. Bless them, they gave us our money back so that's £4 back in the purse. He seems to be walking ok on the ankle now after several hours of 'R.I.C.E'.
Got a few bits ending on eb@y tonight, so hopefully I can put some food in the fridge tomorrow with that!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
