Hi Lucky, I've been reading your diary for a while and just wanted to say you are doing an amazing job. I know it probably doesn't feel like you are coping well a lot of the time, but you are. You are an inspiration and your DH is lucky to have you. Wishing you all the bestRainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Aw, thanks Sparky and ABA! It's so kind of you to be so nice. I certainly don't feel inspirational! Drowning maybe, but not inspirational!!! DH has been better today though :j.
Made £18 on eb@y last night after fees etc, so spent that in the supermarket today. Hopefully that will see us through until Friday.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Glorious day here today. Got the gym over with this morning and then sunbathed in the garden in a vest and shorts!!!! Finished the book I've been reading (The Never Ending Journey - Living With Brain Injury) which was excellent and I just chilled - Bliss.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Lucky - Mr Lucky doesn't do things by halves when he gains/loses weight does he, no fiddly little one or two pounds for him! Glad you had a nice day in the sun. Would you recommend that book? Sounds like something I should read.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I'm sure it has something to do with his blood sugar levels SA. I'm going to mention it to the GP when we see her on Friday. That said though, DH doesn't seem to have a 'full' indicator and can continue to eat long after a 'normal' person would have been sick or exploded, so his large gains make sense.
The book was really good. It's written by a girl who was left with a brain injury after an allergic reaction to anaesthetic, and shows it from both hers and her family's point of view. There are many similarities between her and my DH, so I assume it will resonate with you and Mr SA too. DH said he wanted to read it (though has tried to start it and couldn't concentrate on it) and MiL would like to read it too, but after that I'm more than willing to send it on to you if you PM me your address. It's not a very long book so it shouldn't take MiL long at all XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I'd highly recommend Richard Hammonds autobiography if you happen across a copy which is written in a similar vein, from his point of view & (while he was in the coma & 'fog') his wifes

Cheers Trix, will check it out. James Cracknell's book is excellent too and again is written by him and his wife. I recommend that one highly XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
