Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone :beer:. I've had a nice day, everyone gave me clothes shop vouchers (so I had no option but to spend it on myself!) and I had a mooch round the shops today. Bought one new top but will go back next week and try to spend the rest (or at least a bit more of it).

I also had a Krispy Kreme .

And went out for tea .

DH has been very vague again this evening . He seems disconnected and 'absent'.

Robin, no we haven't got new tv or had the old one looked at to see if it can be repaired . It's on the never ending 'to do when we've got the money' list. Same goes for the fireplace which is still covered by a bin bag and brown tape :rotfl:.

Steph, DS1 is being referred as he helps care for his Dad and on occasions has been left in charge and has had to deal with seizures etc. He will be given the opportunity to mix with other young carers and perhaps access support.

It is DS1's birthday tomorrow and he's having 3 friends over for a sleepover. I must be mad!! Wish me luck Xx

Happy Birthday for yesterday Lucky! Well done on the 4 stone award and the £200 rebate. Not so good Mr Lucky wise though, hope he's better soon. Good luck with the sleepover tonight, I'm sure it will be great fun for them though.

DS1 had a fab birthday and sleepover. Well, I say sleepover but it was more just an 'over' as not much sleep went on!! I'm absolutely exhausted as although they were all behaved I couldn't sleep until they did and it was 3am before it went quiet (and before 7am when it got noisy again!!!). Took them all to Parkour and then dropped them home about 2pm. I don't know how they were all still going! I've ironed the uniforms and now I'm debating a bubble bath and putting my pjs on before sitting in front of the tv for the rest of the day!!

We tend to have "overs" too, Missy Hinge is banned from having more then 1 friend at a time after there all nighter on her birthday :cool:

Nothing beats watching TV in your Pj's other then watching Tv in clean Pj's following a soak in a bubble bath!
