Yay to Mum for dinner and yay to The Bay (can't remember, can you access funds straight away?). Spending less than a tenner at a school fair deserves an award too - I do remember the pressure put upon Mum there; "It's for extra activities" and "all my mates are having a go" and "look at the prizes, I'm sure I'll win!"
..In the long run, your kids are learning how to budget which will stand them in better stead than being over-indulged now - so give yourself a pat on the back, Lucky! :T

SA~~You can buy a countdown for either 6 or 12 weeks for SW.
6 week, you pay for 5
12 week, you pay for 10.
    Hope this helps :)

Brilliant to get dinner at your mum's. I understand your feelings about terrorism. I keep telling myself not to worry as it is futile but it seems to be too ingrained.

Thanks for the info on SW. I intend to go to my first meeting on Thursday.

£60 on selling things is a huge amount of money lucky well done! xx

  • Afternoon! Hope you are all basking in glorious sunshine! I've come inside for a break from cooking myself in the garden, it's sooo hot out there! Not that I'm complaining!!

Robin, funds can be transferred to bank account instantaneously, which helped massively. Of the £60 I made, I resisted the urge to send the whole lot to Bcard, and instead I sent £33 and kept the rest as a float. This now makes the outstanding cc balance £370, so not cleared for the 0% to run out tomorrow, but I did my best.

DH had to go for a repeat blood test this morning - his sodium is low (even for him!) again :(. Then we got diesel but I saved £7.20 using Mr T's fuel save, and then we went to the gym. Fat class tonight, hoping the sun has melted some of the chub off this afternoon :D Xx

    Hey you!

Maybe the low sodium has been adding to his recent issues with mini seizures?

£370 is still admirable considering all that you have achieved, your Family Fun Fridays, adding in your own fitness bits, DH's birthday, Anniversary... You are fab. Never forget it!!! xxx

  • Aw shucks Lilty, you say the nicest things!

Quick update before the house wakes up for the day! Rotten night's sleep again for me as DH was super jerky again. At one point I thought he was going to punch himself in the face! I've googled it and I think he has myoclonic seizures - uncontrollable arm movements. Something to discuss with Consultant on Monday.

Last night I lost 2lbs. DH lost 1.5lbs and got to target. I am doubly thrilled about that for him, as it also means he now goes to chub club for free :j.

1st of the month so time for a debt calculation. I'll be back! Xx

  • Debt at 1st July stands at £1740.

Only 2 NSDs in June - Must try harder!!

No TC seizures in June (24 weeks yesterday), but lots of other seizure activity.

Happy with that! Here's to a fabulous July  Xx
