PLMBL I find that when S becomes more & more tired then anger & aggression just build to a final lose it moment. When his anger was at its worst we used golf club practice & also old swing ball to help with the aggression. Definitely tiredness causes melt downs & for my S not eating regularly. I have him on three hourly feeds!! At 29 I reckon that's about right. Good luck
  • Hi Lucky, just catching up :) so pleased to hear DH has reached 17 weeks seizure free :j :T!! that's great! Also great news on the weight loss from both of you! I think women naturally hold onto fat, perhaps it's because we usually carry the stress of the whole family? Perhaps it's just because we're built differently but I know how gutting it is, when I was on SW I had a friend who always lost, every week and I would be like you i'd lose a small amount or sometimes i'd lose none and it was annoying. Just keep on at it, sometimes we need to shake up the diet a little or add in a little more exercise (or different exercise) to kick start it again. I have noticed my tummy and bum getting bigger and bigger lately, am sure stress is something to do with it and hoping it all evens out soon and I go back to a weight i'm happy with. Big hugs :) xxx

Fizzy, your S does sound very much like my DH. He has been eating regularly and healthily (maybe too healthily if there is such a thing! He's been VERY strict) and doing a lot of exercise. He doesn't sleep very well either so I think he is exhausting himself. I had a proper chat about it with him yesterday and voiced my concerns which he took on board, so hopefully things will improve.

You are not big! I've seen photographic evidence!! :D. But I know what you mean about needing to be happy in yourself. I've been to Clubbercise tonight which I LOVE, but I definitely need to keep mixing up my exercise.

  • No NSD today as I spent £4 on Clubbercise, but I didn't spend anything else today so I'm still pleased.

Had a hard session with the Counsellor today - lots of tears. I'm finding it really interesting/useful/helpful though and I am starting to notice things I hadn't considered before. Like why is it so important to me that other people think I'm a good person, yet I refuse to see myself through their eyes. I constantly think I'm not worthy of praise and I'm not as important as everyone else, so how I want others to see me doesn't match how I see myself if that even makes sense. Lots of old wounds opened up too which was hard.

Lovely to hear about generous acts back and forth

I know I get very irritable when I am tired, In pain or sugar levels. I know I should pace, but it's very hard when you're Young and can see what others your age are doing.

Hope you all get a good nights sleep...

I used tothink that I was an ok person who tried to do my best but sadly it has been pointed out to me in no uncertain terms that this is not the case.
My son & his GF have moved out & I am just done.
They are staying at my mums for a few days.

Beanie, you are a very good person - never let anyone say otherwise.

No doubt your son telling you that you are not a good person was done in the heat of the moment probably when you had either asked him to do something to help or he had asked you to do something and you are too ill to do it.

Unfortunately kidults (kids who are supposed to be adults) just don't know how good they have it.

Maybe it's for the best that he has left, I don't think they contributed much in terms of money or help around your house.

You are such a lovely supportive person to everyone on here I cannot imagine you being any different in real life.
