Thanks Steve you're a star. I'll have a search for the above info on the M&S website.

I found the card listed as one which can be paid online from my NatWest account too.

    David.

I got that info from this page:

    http://www6.marksandspencer.com/pages/default.asp?PageId=FAQ&Product=CC

You get to it if you press APPLY, the CONTINUE from the main &more page. Different set of Q&As from those on the main page strangely!

    Cheers

I was in M&S the other evening to purchase bedding plus holiday clothing, which came to quite a bit of money. Overheard one of the staff trying to flog an &More card to a customer, and telling her she could get 10% off her total purchases (purchased in one go at the checkout) for that evening if she took out the card. The offer is open until early June I think.

With this in mind, I collared the staff member, took out the card, and was able to get a tidy little sum knocked off my purchases. I had even ordered some further bedding as it was out of stock, and she wrote on the order sheet that the 10% would be honoured for that purchase also.

And if when the card arrives I never use it again, I still saved money!

Yes if you "apply for" the card in the store you get the 10% off. The snag I think is there are two MoreThan cards, a black one with 0% for 9 months and a lighter coloured one with 0% for 6 months. So you need to be aware which one you are applying for.

It's &More not More Than - the latter is a Royal and Sun Alliance brand!

Thanks for those tips Loobey and David.

I was considering getting a &MoreM&S card and have to go into M&S to get young Master N some PJ's. Money off PJ's is good and I'll kill 2 birds with one stone hopefully

    Hi Guys

    I am a newbee...

Have a question for you all...

I have just received my &more card and BT'd £5000 from my virgin card to it. The misses then went out on Saturday afternoon retail spending on the &more. So my question is will I have to pay off my BT of £5000 before I can pay off the retail purchase (which obviously will be gaining interest)?

Or if I pay off the the retail purchases on a monthly basis I will continue the normal 0% rate for nine months on the BT?

Help...I have called M&S twice and cant really understand what the foreign call centre are going on about! They just dont seem to answer my question.

    many thanks

    Hi,
I guess your payments will go to the lowest interest rate part & therefor high interest will accrue on your good ladies spending. One possible but messy way to correct this if you think about it carefully & time it even more carefully,is to bal transfer the £5K back to Virgin pay off the &more purchases to clear the card & immediatelly retransfer the £5K to &more. Possible traps here are that Virgin may charge high interest on the £5K from day one & also will &more allow you a second BT input @0%. Otherwise try for another new card.

    I agree Tony....

But as per the original post or second one at the start of this this thread it says on the &more website that you have 0% for nine months on purchases and BT's.

However I can't find any info in the T&C's to back this up
