  • Hi Mrs_E,

I just read through your diary and great job at staying motivated! I struggle with that too :o

This may be a hard question to answer, but in the beginning of your diary you mentioned lentil fritters, could you link me the recipe if you have it? They sound tasty!

Also, never thought about de-cluttering until I read this diary, I'm going to check out the de-cluttering thread, need space/OPs!

Great decluttering amd getting jobs done. Out of the 6 week holidays I have 2 weeks of childcare to sort as DH and I luckily have got 2 weeks off each but opposite each other. Hoping to rope in my DM to help even if it is just an early pick up from holiday club to save a bit of money. Also, the children want to go to some support activities over the holidays so the cost of those will soon mount up.

How close to being on the market are you?

I have one week sorted and probably more, so maybe only have to book 1 day holy club per week which is fine with me :)

If I can get a rocket up hubby's behind then I was hoping to get the house valued in August, but that might be pushing it a little bit.

I've been sucked into reading the kondo thread. It's really interesting and I can see how I can apply it to my life.

So I bit the bullet and used an amazon voucher I had and downloaded the book. I can already see how I can apply it to my life, just hoping it rubs off on Hubby.

We're going to give the spare room a use this weekend and turn it into an office, with furniture that currently sits in the dining room which will hopefully in turn make the dining room a little more functional. Hopefully win win if we do put house on the market sooner rather than later.

Thats good! Definitely better to have an office and a nice dining room than a crowded dining room and a spare room :)

Ooh! I think I have another side gig...summer camp!

I do sympathise with the whole getting the holidays off thing.

I'm hoping I have most of it sorted with only having to pay for one day a week holiday club most weeks, so if I can do that I'll be happy.

I'm enjoying the condo way of decluttering and by focusing on clusters of items instead of a room means my mind is training itself to think I must sort through the nail varnishes, or the books etc which makes it a much easier and quicker task to identify the items that I want to get rid of.

I've been looking through my spreadsheets tonight and it's been a while since I made an OP, and am itching to pay something ,so will go through some figures tomorrow to see if I can syphon something off I think.

I have started reading the Kon-Marie thread too. How are you finding the Ebook. I miss not being able to 'flick through' on a kindle.

Hope you manage to find an OP, I feel like I am doing nothing at the moment. Hurry up payday!
