Hi Mrs E and thanks for your help.

You have overpaid more than me and I have been at it *ahem* years.

Have I? I did check today at the OP balance and it would see us through more than six months should anything horrible happen, not that it will count I guess if we move, so will have to start from scratch again.

During my decluttering today I found the new mortgage offer for the smaller part so that's in a 2 year fix. We're planning on staying with the same provider and porting the mortgages across, but will we be allowed three mortgage products?

Ooh I don't know. Do you want three?

I don't really want three but it saves money not having to pay the early repayment charge if we port them over. Still I guess it's a question for the bank.

A bit more decluttering done today. I've painted over an old blackboard piece of the wall so I can paint the whole kitchen the same colour, washed down the skirting board (needs painting) and cleared a large drawer and cleaned it. Someone tell me why it was a good idea to get a dog. Hair gets everywhere!

    thanks :)

I sent Hubby to the charity shop today with a big pile of "stuff" that I have decluttered over the last week. Also the recycling bin has been emptied today so I can start filling it again :rotfl:

Hubby has also spent his day off painting which was nice to come home to (I was in a hot and sticky office all day).

Sorted childcare for the next few weeks and need to get thinking about the summer holidays and how I can do it without spending a fortune on holiday clubs.

Great decluttering amd getting jobs done. Out of the 6 week holidays I have 2 weeks of childcare to sort as DH and I luckily have got 2 weeks off each but opposite each other. Hoping to rope in my DM to help even if it is just an early pick up from holiday club to save a bit of money. Also, the children want to go to some support activities over the holidays so the cost of those will soon mount up.

How close to being on the market are you?
