The phone etc can be sorted more easily than your living arrangements which you've been working on for years.

I am going to my mums overnight later and new carpet day is Wednesday.
Although I did not pay for carpet I now wish I did not get a more expensive one.

    Why? Buy cheap, buy twice.

This will all have to be dealt with and costs money I really can't spare and energy i don't have.

You'll have spare money and energy because a certain pair won't be sapping it.

    Such mixed feelings.

    Dear Beanielou

You are experiencing the natural grief and loss at this change, and that causes great emotional fatigue which does us no good.

Take it in small steps think about what you can achieve in the next few hours - that might mean feet up with a cuppa - or wine o'clock.

This time will pass - and there is the prospect of quality time with loved ones, when things have settled.

As you would say keep plodding, slowly....

    Love and hugs
As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
What does the saying say.... When life hands you lemons, make lemonade
Or as my Mum would say, brush yourself down, tomorrow is another day or
Fake it, to you Make It

Just had a catch up on your diary Beanie - here's to the new era............... it's hard when you miss them but hopefully you'll have a far more positive relationship - you all need space, when you meet up it'll be because you want to meet up not because there is no alternative because you're all living together.

Good news on he 23's and exciting times with the new carpet - what colour - did I dream it or did you say a purply shade............ I love the smell of new carpets. I bought a shoe rack from b&m and it's transformed my wardrobe - looks really tidy and no rummaging for odd shoes.

Just catching up on your diary - sorry been awol for a few weeks! Sorry that you are having rough time with DS and his girlfriend - hopefully it will get easier when they are not in quite so close proximity all the time - even though it will be strange and hard to start no doubt! Sending you hugs x
