I have just been reading a bit of your diary and somethings we share in common
My only child DD moved out in december, it's tough and I have just taken each day as it comes
At first I was so exhausted from the long hours sitting at the station and expected it to hit me at christmas but it didn't. DD and OH clashed like crazy so I have gone from total war zone to semi war zone. I think for me the best thing was realising that I would have good and bad days, but also remembering that DD and I share a bond that can't be broken has helped.

20 years since Dunblane yesterday.
Certainly doesent feel it.
Here I am awake again at silly o'clock.
My young person is alive well and happy ( I hope) & now living not far from Dunblane. I don't really know what I am saying but something along the lines of be well, be happy & make it count.

Thats very powerful, beanie, especially in the context of Dunblane. I think about those little ones - Andy Murray was one of the ones who sheltered in the headmaster's study, wasn't he? Each and every human life is precious of course, but knowing that Murray was there makes me think, who did we lose? Who have we lost, without ever knowing it, who would have maybe changed the course of the world, written an amazing book, *something*. Gone now.
Anyway, you're off to the falls clinic today? I hope it goes well.2023: the year I get to buy a car1 -
