At some point I will stop monopolising your thread!
You asked me about how the realisation of my situation made me feel. Let me repeat that back to you;

Aww Beanie, sorry you are feeling so down. If it's the people I suspect it is you will be unable to avoid them being you but tell them they either change or that's it - I think a free valuation might not be a bad idea just make sure you make it known...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I think a valuation might help. You could always nail the message home by offering to help them pack or asking for input on an advert for a lodger. This would definitely reinforce the message that You are not a victim.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Hey. I am slightly better than I was.
Mentally emotionally & physically exhausted though.
I was at an angel workshop yesterday which was another belated birthday present. It was quite eye opening in a few ways.
One thing it highlighted for me was the need to improve communication. To be honest I thought I was quite good at that. You live & learn.
To this end I have written to both my DS & his GF & highlighted how I feel about some things. I have tried to focus on the positive other than the fact that I fear so much being a burden & how sad I am at my lessening physical capabilities & how I sometimes get so frustated & angry about that.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Hello dear Beanie,
Just wanted to add to the messages of gratitude for what your encouragement does for so many of us, and how you take the time to leave the lovely messages on our threads.
Also, not knowing your situation, but reading between the lines, I too hope that you can build up your confidence and face the situation in a way that you see fit. I do agree with Butti that a positive mantra could be very useful.
