    I don't have any need for smart clothes either so picked up a £3.50 dress from a charity shop for DD1s graduation. The next week I sold it on eBay for £12 :)

    Where what you will be comfortable in. Are you going to be the proud mother in lots of graduation photos or the proud mother looking on?

    For me it’s dressing as if you are going to a family meal for a special occasion.... smart jeans will show you are a trendy Mummy........

    My mother would disown me if I wore jeans.

    It can be a lot of waiting around so in this weather I think trousers might be a winner. Always think shoes are not so prominent with trousers as a dress. Hope you find some that dont hurt though!
