So, what you need to do is describe your life and judge it as if it were someone else. You'd be in awe. Give yourself the credit that you give others

Mmmm. I get what you are saying but I have no idea how I would describe myself.

Paperwork can really take over unless you keep it in check, can't it - good for you!

What to wear ... aieeeee! Luckily, in the last 7 years, there have been 3 family weddings, and I've needed a different dress for each of them, of course (so many pictures these days!) Got them all half price in sales, around £40 each, and each of them are trotted out in turn - because of those flipping cruises this year! But I also have a very nice top I've worn to a very chichi restaurant (meal was hosted by a family member) and the top cost me all of 30p at a cs, I'm not kidding :) I bet you have more than you think you do :)

I also alternate dresses (the ones I can fit into!!) and I love the pound rail at my cs.

For recent graduations people seem to wear dresses or tops and trousrs/skirts that are dressy but not night time dressy iyswim, like one level down from wedding attire. Not sure if that helps x

p.s. I also think you are great as per the conversation above, you always cheer me up or cheer me on, whatever I'm needing!

  • A smartish dress, or smart trousers with a dressy top would be fine. Do you have a smart warm jacket or plain wool coat to wear with it?

My mum often wore a plain tee-shirt with a patterned blouse (unbuttoned) over the top and either a nice necklace or silky type scarf to brighten the plain tee-shirt. She would wear smart black or navy trousers usually with it. Her plain tee-shirts were cheap ones from M&S but the blouses would be more expensive. She always looked well dressed :).

It's good to make some headway with the dreaded paperwork.
