Beanielou is your gift your unconditional love, and would he not cherish a letter written by you that says all that you think of him, that in years to come when gifts get broken or lost, he can look back read, and know that he is loved?

Beanie it didn’t even enter my head to buy either of mine graduation gifts......my gift to them both was my support (not the financial kind either) whilst they were at uni. We did go for a cheap meal before we headed home and left them to celebrate with their friends - they both travelled quite a distance for their courses and we needed to get back. It was soon after I had my lb moment about my finances - or lack of. And as far as I know neither of them expected gifts - I made them both a nice card which I think they kept.
I wonder if feeling a bit down has anything to do with all the focus (rightly so too) on Remembrance Day - it gets me every year.....on top of everything else you are juggling at the moment.
Hope you manage to shake the feeling off soon.January spends - £587.580

Good. To quote my northern friend (you know, the one you really like....who's good at cleaning kitchens)....Get a grip woman!!
I never had a graduation gift. Getting the degree was enough of a gift. Having them come to the graduation was the icing on the cake. Although we did also go out for a meal where I had more icing on the cake!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.
